[Machine] "Do not interlace your fingers, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us from interlacing our fingers during prayer. So I said, 'But I am not in prayer.' He said, 'Did you not perform ablution and come out intending to pray?' I said, 'Yes.' He said, 'Then you are in prayer.' This hadith was also narrated by 'Isa ibn Yunus from Sa'eed al-Maqburi from Abu Thumamah. The narration goes back to Sa'eed al-Maqburi from Abu Thumamah who said, 'The scholar stated regarding this that the prohibition of interlacing fingers indeed occurred during prayer, and that Ka'b ibn 'Ujrah entered the mosque while his fingers were interlaced, based on what is mentioned in the evidence. And it has been narrated from another chain of narrators from Ka'b ibn 'Ujrah with the same wording."
