[Machine] Uthman ibn Affan said, while he was on the pulpit on Friday, giving a sermon for a man, "Did you buy this for our family or did he give a signal with his finger, meaning the sermon?"  

البيهقي:٥٨٤٥قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ ثنا مِسْعَرٌ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

قَالَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ ؓ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ يَخْطُبُ لِرَجُلٍ هَلِ اشْتَرَيْتَ لِأَهْلِنَا هَذَا أَوْ أَشَارَ بِطَرَفِ أُصْبُعِهِ يَعْنِي الْخُطْبَةَ
