[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to deliver the Friday sermon while standing, then he would sit down, then he would stand up and deliver the sermon as they do today.  

البيهقي:٥٧٠٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى وَحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ قَالَا ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ ثنا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ ثنا أَبُو كَامِلٍ ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَخْطُبُ كَمَا يَفْعَلُونَ الْيَوْمَ
