ʿAli b. Abū Ṭālib said: I sent al-Miqdād b. al-Aswad to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to ask him about the madhī (pre-seminal fluid) that comes out of a man: how should he deal with it? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Do wuḍū and sprinkle water on your private parts.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 823)   

البيهقي:٥٦٣ – أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مَخْرَمَةُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ أَرْسَلْتُ الْمِقْدَادَ بْنَ الْأَسْوَدِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنِ الْمَذْيِ يَخْرُجُ مِنَ الْإِنْسَانِ كَيْفَ يَفْعَلُ بِهِ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تَوَضَّأْ وَانْضَحْ فَرْجَكَ  

رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنَ عِيسَى وَغَيْرِهِ

We sent al-Miqdad b. al-Aswad to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to ask him what must be done about prostatic fluid which flows from (the private part of) a person. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Perform ablution and wash your sexual organ.
