[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "Friday prayer is a duty upon every Muslim in congregation, except for four: slaves, women, children, and the sick." Abu Dawood said, "Tariq bin Shihab saw the Prophet ﷺ but did not hear anything from him." The sheikh narrated it, and Ubaid bin Muhammad Al-Ajli narrated it from Al-Abbas bin Abdul-Azim, who mentioned it in reference to Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari, but it is not memorized, as it has not been passed down.
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْجُمُعَةُ حَقٌّ وَاجِبٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ إِلَّا أَرْبَعَةً عَبْدٌ مَمْلُوكٌ أَوِ امْرَأَةٌ أَوْ صَبِيٌّ أَوْ مَرِيضٌ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ طَارِقُ بْنُ شِهَابٍ قَدْ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَلَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا قَالَ الشَّيْخُ وَرَوَاهُ عُبَيْدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعِجْلِيُّ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ فَوَصَلَهُ بِذِكْرِ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ فِيهِ وَلَيْسَ بِمَحْفُوظٍ فَقَدْ
