[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gathered in a journey he traveled in the Battle of Tabuk, and he combined the Zhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha prayers. So I said to Ibn Abbas, what prompted him to do that? He said, he wanted to not burden his Ummah.

البيهقي:٥٥٤٩ – وَأَمَّا حَدِيثُ قُرَّةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ بِخِلَافِ هَؤُلَاءِ 5549 فَأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي الْوَلِيدُ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ نَصْرٍ الْحَافِظُ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ثنا قُرَّةُ وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَرَ الْمُقْرِئُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخُطَبِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ ثنا أَبِي ثنا قُرَّةُ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

جَمَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي سَفْرَةٍ سَافَرَهَا فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ فَجَمَعَ بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ فَقُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ مَا حَمَلَهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ أَرَادَ أَنْ لَا يُحْرِجَ أُمَّتَهُ

رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبِيبٍ وَكَانَ قُرَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ أَرَادَ حَدِيثَ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ عَنْ مُعَاذٍ فَهَذَا لَفْظُ حَدِيثِهِ أَوْ رَوَى سَعِيدُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ جَمِيعًا فَسَمِعَ قُرَّةُ أَحَدَهُمَا وَمَنْ تَقَدَّمَ ذَكَرَهُ الْآخَرُ وَهَذِهِ أَشْبَهُ فَقَدْ رَوَى قُرَّةُ حَدِيثَ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ أَيْضًا وَرَوَاهُ حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فَخَالَفَ أَبَا الزُّبَيْرِ فِي مَتْنِهِ
