[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A woman should not travel alone without a mahram accompanying her." Abu Al-Hasan Al-Muqri informed us that Al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn Ishaq narrated to us, who narrated to us from Yusuf ibn Ya'qub, who narrated to us from Sulaiman ibn Harb, who narrated to us from Hammad ibn Salamah, who mentioned this hadith. This narration is found in the three books (referring to the hadith collections of Imam Bukhari, Imam Muslim, and Imam Abu Dawood) and it is authentic. The Prophet ﷺ was asked about a woman who travels for three days without a mahram, to which he replied, "No." He was then asked about a woman who travels for two days without a mahram, to which he replied, "No." He was asked about a woman who travels for one day without a mahram, to which he replied, "No." Each of them fulfilled what they remembered, and the number of these days does not limit the restriction of traveling. And with Allah is the success.
