[Machine] When the day ends, stand and pray four units. Then mention the same four things. He said, "Then raise your head, meaning from the second prostration, and sit, and do not stand until you have made ten tasbih, ten tahmid, ten takbir, and ten tahleel." Then do that in the four units. He (the narrator) said, "If you were the greatest of the people of the earth in sins, they would be forgiven for you." I said, "But if I cannot pray that at that hour?" He said, "Pray it at night and during the day." Abu Dawud said: The narrator continued from Abu Jawnza'a from Abdullah bin Amr, who said: "The sheikh narrated it." Abu Janab also narrated it from Abu Jawnza'a from Abdullah bin Amr, who narrated it from the Prophet ﷺ elevated, except that he made tasbih fifty times before recitation, and he made what comes after the second prostration after the recitation. Abu Dawud said: Rawh bin al-Musayyib and Jafar bin Sulaiman narrated it from Amr bin Malik al-Nukri from Ibn Abbas, and he said: He also said in the hadith of Rawh: The Prophet ﷺ said 4920, and Abu Ali al-Rudhbary reported to us, and Abu Bakr reported to us, and Abu Dawud reported to us, and Abu Tawba al-Rabi bin Nafi reported to us, and Muhammad bin Mu'ajir reported to us from Urwah bin Ruwaym, he said: Al-Ansari told me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Ja'far with this hadith, and he mentioned the same thing. Then he said: In the second prostration of the first unit, as in the hadith of Mahdy bin Maymun.  

البيهقي:٤٩١٩وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ الْأُبُلِّيُّ حَدَّثَنَا حَبَّانُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ أَبُو حَبِيبٍ حَدَّثَنِي مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبَى الْجَوْزَاءِ حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ كَانَتْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ يَرَوْنَ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو قَالَ ائْتِنِي غَدًا أَحْبُوكَ وَأُثِيبُكَ وَأُعْطِيكَ حَتَّى ظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ يُعْطِينِي عَطِيَّةً قَالَ

إِذَا زَالَ النَّهَارُ فَقُمْ فَصَلِّ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ قَالَ ثُمَّ تَرْفَعُ رَأْسَكَ يَعْنِي مِنَ السَّجْدَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ فَاسْتَوِ جَالِسًا وَلَا تَقُمْ حَتَّى تُسَبِّحَ عَشْرًا وَتَحْمَدَ عَشْرًا وَتُكَبِّرَ عَشْرًا وَتُهَلِّلَ عَشْرًا ثُمَّ تَصْنَعُ ذَلِكَ فِي الْأَرْبَعِ رَكَعَاتٍ قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ لَوْ كُنْتَ أَعْظَمَ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ ذَنْبًا غُفِرَ لَكَ بِذَلِكَ قُلْتُ فَإِنْ لَمْ أَسْتَطِعْ أَنْ أُصَلِّيَهَا تِلْكَ السَّاعَةَ؟ قَالَ صَلِّهَا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَرَوَاهُ الْمُسْتَمِرُّ بْنُ الرَّيَّانِ عَنْ أَبَى الْجَوْزَاءِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو مَوْقُوفًا قَالَ الشَّيْخُ وَرَوَاهُ أَبُو جَنَابٍ عَنْ أَبَى الْجَوْزَاءِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مَرْفُوعًا غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ جَعَلَ التَّسْبِيحَ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ مَرَّةً قَبْلَ الْقِرَاءَةِ وَجَعَلَ مَا بَعْدَ السَّجْدَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ بَعْدَ الْقِرَاءَةِ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَرَوَاهُ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ وَجَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَالِكٍ النُّكْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبَى الْجَوْزَاءِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلَهُ وَقَالَ فِي حَدِيثِ رَوْحٍ فَقَالَ حَدِيثَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

4920 وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا أَبُو تَوْبَةَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُهَاجِرٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ رُوَيْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْأَنْصَارِيُّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِجَعْفَرٍ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ فِي السَّجْدَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ الْأُولَى كَمَا فِي حَدِيثِ مَهْدِيِّ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ
