bayhaqi:4707 – Abū ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥāfiẓ > Abū ʿAbdullāh Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb > Aḥmad b. Salamah And ʾAbū Bakr b. Isḥāq > Abū Kurayb > Abū Usāmah > Hishām b. ʿUrwah from his father > ʿĀʾishah

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ heard a man reciting during the night and said, "May Allah have mercy on him. He reminded me of such and such verse which I had forgotten from Surah so and so."

البيهقي:٤٧٠٧ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَقْرَأُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَقَالَ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ لَقَدْ أَذْكَرَنِي كَذَا وَكَذَا آيَةً كُنْتُ أَسْقَطْتُهَا عَنْ سُورَةِ كَذَا وَكَذَا

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ وَرَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ عَنْ أَبِي كُرَيْبٍ وَغَيْرِهِ عَنْ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ
