[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the prayer is established, only perform the obligatory prayer." It was said, "O Messenger of Allah, what about the two units of the morning prayer (Fajr)?" He said, "Not even the two units of the morning prayer." Abu Ahmad said, "I do not know any mention of this addition in the text except for Yahya ibn Nasr from Muslim ibn Khalid from Amr." The Shaykh said, "And it has been said from Ahmad ibn Sayyar from Nasr ibn Hajib, and it is a fabrication, and Nasr ibn Hajib al-Marwazi is not reliable, and his son Yahya is also the same. And what we have cited from the authentic hadith is sufficient to invalidate this addition. And with Allah is the facilitation."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَلَا صَلَاةَ إِلَّا الْمَكْتُوبَةَ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَلَا رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ؟ قَالَ وَلَا رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ قَالَ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ لَا أَعْلَمُ ذَكَرَ هَذِهِ الزِّيَادَةَ فِي مَتْنِهِ غَيْرُ يَحْيَى بْنِ نَصْرٍ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ عَمْرٍو قَالَ الشَّيْخُ وَقَدْ قِيلَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ سَيَّارٍ عَنْ نَصْرِ بْنِ حَاجِبٍ وَهُوَ وَهْمٌ وَنَصْرُ بْنُ حَاجِبٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ لَيْسَ بِالْقَوِيِّ وَابْنُهُ يَحْيَى كَذَلِكَ وَفِيمَا احْتَجَجْنَا بِهِ مِنَ الْأَحَادِيثِ الصَّحِيحَةِ كِفَايَةٌ عَنْ هَذِهِ الزِّيَادَةِ وَبِاللهِ التَّوْفِيقُ
