[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Indeed, the sun rises with the horn of the devil, then when it reaches its zenith, the horn leaves it. Then when it sets, the horn returns to it. And when it comes close to the horizon, the horn is with it. Then when it sets completely, the horn leaves it.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited praying during those times. Thus it is.  

البيهقي:٤٣٨٤ – أنبأ أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي وَغَيْرُهُ قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ أنبأ مَالِكٌ (ح) وَأنبأ أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ دَرَسْتَوَيْهِ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثنا ابْنُ قَعْنَبٍ وَابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ الصُّنَابِحِيّ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ تَطْلُعُ وَمَعَهَا قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ فَإِذَا ارْتَفَعَتْ فَارَقَهَا ثُمَّ إِذَا اسْتَوَتْ قَارَنَهَا فَإِذَا زَالَتْ فَارَقَهَا فَإِذَا دَنَتْ لِلْغُرُوبِ قَارَنَهَا فَإِذَا غَرَبَتْ فَارَقَهَا وَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي تِلْكَ السَّاعَاتِ كَذَلِكَ  

رَوَاهُ مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ وَرَوَاهُ مَعْمَرُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الصُّنَابِحِيِّ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى التِّرْمِذِيُّ الصَّحِيحُ رِوَايَةُ مَعْمَرٍ وَهُوَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الصُّنَابِحِيُّ وَاسْمُهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُسَيْلَةَ

Then when it approaches the meridian he comes near to it, and when it has passed the zenith he goes away. Then when it is close to setting, he comes near to it, then when it has set, he goes away." And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade praying at those times.  

النسائي:٥٥٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الصُّنَابِحِيِّ

malik:15-46 – Yaḥyá > Mālik > Zayd b. Aslam > ʿAṭāʾ b. Yasār > ʿAbdullāh al-Ṣunābiḥī

Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam from Ata ibn Yasar from Abdullah as-Sunabihi that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The sun rises and with it is a horn of Shaytan and when the sun gets higher the horn leaves it. Then when the sun reaches the meridian the horn joins it and when the sun declines the horn leaves it, and when the sun has nearly set it joins it again." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade prayer at these times.  

مالك:١٥-٤٦ – حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الصُّنَابِحِيِّ
