[Machine] Salamat poured water on the urine of the boy until he ate. When he ate, she washed him and used to wash the urine of the girl. The established hadiths differ in the distinction between the urine of the boy and the girl in this regard. When some of them are combined with others, they become stronger, as if they were not settled with Al-Shafi'i, may Allah have mercy on him, when he said, "And it is not clear to me the difference between the urine of the boy and the girl from the established Sunnah." Al-Bukhari and Muslim went to the same conclusion, as none of their books contained anything except that Al-Bukhari preferred the hadith of Abu Al-Samh and corrected Hisham in narrating the hadith of Ali. Despite this, the practice of Umm Salamah is authentic based on the previous established hadiths regarding sprinkling the urine of the boy  

البيهقي:٤١٦٣أنبأ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي الْحَجَّاجِ أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أُمِّهِ أَنَّهَا أَبْصَرَتْ أُمَّ

سَلَمَةَ ؓ تَصُبُّ عَلَى بَوْلِ الْغُلَامِ مَا لَمْ يَطْعَمْ فَإِذَا طَعِمَ غَسَلَتْهُ وَكَانَتْ تَغْسِلُ بَوْلَ الْجَارِيَةِ وَالْأَحَادِيثُ الْمُسْنَدَةُ فِي الْفَرْقِ بَيْنَ بَوْلِ الْغُلَامِ وَالْجَارِيَةِ فِي هَذَا الْبَابِ إِذَا ضُمَّ بَعْضُهَا إِلَى بَعْضٍ قَوِيتْ وَكَأَنَّهَا لَمْ تَثْبُتْ عِنْدَ الشَّافِعِيِّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ حِينَ قَالَ وَلَا يَتَبَيَّنُ لِي فِي بَوْلِ الصَّبِيِّ وَالْجَارِيَةِ فَرْقٌ مِنَ السُّنَّةِ الثَّابِتَةِ وَإِلَى مِثْلِ ذَلِكَ ذَهَبَ الْبُخَارِيُّ وَمُسْلِمٌ حَيْثُ لَمْ يُودِعَا شَيْئًا مِنْهُا كِتَابَيْهِمَا إِلَّا أَنَّ الْبُخَارِيَّ اسْتَحْسَنَ حَدِيثَ أَبِي السَّمْحِ وَصَوَّبَ هِشَامًا فِي رَفْعِ حَدِيثِ عَلِيٍّ وَمَعَ ذَلِكَ فِعْلُ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ؓ صَحِيحٌ عَنْهَا مَعَ مَا سَبَقَ مِنَ الْأَحَادِيثِ الثَّابِتَةِ فِي الرَّشِّ عَلَى بَوْلِ الصَّبِيِّ
