bayhaqi:3980[Chain 1] Abū Zakariyyā b. Abū Isḥāq al-Muzakkī And Ghayruh > Abū al-ʿAbbās Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb > al-Rabīʿ b. Sulaymān > al-Shāfiʿī > Mālik [Chain 2] Abū Bakr Muḥammad b. Jaʿfar al-Muzakkī > Muḥammad b. Ibrāhīm al-ʿAbdī > Ibn Bukayr > Mālik > Yaḥyá b. Saʿīd > Muḥammad b. Ibrāhīm al-Taymī > Abū Salamah b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman

[Machine] So there is no harm in that, and this is what Ash-Shafi'i used to do in the past and he would narrate it from a man narrating from Ja'far bin Muhammad from his father from 'Umar in the sense of narrating from Abu Salamah, and he would weaken what is narrated in this story from Ash-Sha'bi and Ibrahim an-Nakha'i that 'Umar reestablished the prayer because they were both sent (as messengers). Abu Salamah reported it from Al-Madinah, and no one denies it in the household of 'Umar.
