[Machine] Rather, it is you, O Lord, three times. Then he recited: "Have you seen what you sow? Is it you who cause it to grow, or are We the cause?" [Al-Waqi'ah 63]. He said: Rather, it is you, O Lord, three times. Then he recited: "Have you seen the water that you drink? Do you bring it down from the clouds or are We the bringers?" [Al-Waqi'ah 68]. He said: Rather, it is you, O Lord, three times. Then he recited: "Have you seen the fire that you ignite? Is it you who produced its tree or are We the producers?" He said: Rather, it is you, O Lord, three times.  

البيهقي:٣٦٩٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا الْأُسْتَاذُ أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبُوشَنْجِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنبأ مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ جَابَانَ الصَّغَانِيِّ عَنْ حُجْرِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْمُدَرِيِّ قَالَ بِتُّ عِنْدَ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ فَسَمِعْتُهُ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ يَقْرَأُ فَمَرَّ بِهَذِهِ الْآيَةِ {أَفَرَأَيْتُمْ مَا تُمْنُونَ أَأَنْتُمْ تَخْلُقُونَهُ أَمْ نَحْنُ الْخَالِقُونَ} [الواقعة 59] قَالَ

بَلْ أَنْتَ يَا رَبِّ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ قَرَأَ {أَفَرَأَيْتُمْ مَا تَحْرُثُونَ أَأَنْتُمْ تَزْرَعُونَهُ أَمْ نَحْنُ الزَّارِعُونَ} [الواقعة 63] قَالَ بَلْ أَنْتَ يَا رَبِّ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ قَرَأَ {أَفَرَأَيْتُمُ الْمَاءَ الَّذِي تَشْرَبُونَ أَأَنْتُمْ أَنْزَلْتُمُوهُ مِنَ الْمُزْنِ أَمْ نَحْنُ الْمُنْزِلُونَ} [الواقعة 68] قَالَ بَلْ أَنْتَ يَا رَبِّ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ قَرَأَ {أَفَرَأَيْتُمُ النَّارَ الَّتِي تُورُونَ أَأَنْتُمْ أَنْشَأْتُمْ شَجَرَتَهَا أَمْ نَحْنُ الْمُنْشِئُونَ} قَالَ بَلْ أَنْتَ يَا رَبِّ ثَلَاثًا
