[Machine] She said, "I saw the Prophet ﷺ praying in a seated position. It has been narrated in a confirmed hadith from Uthman ibn Hakeem, from Aamir ibn Abdullah ibn Zubair, from his father who said, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to place his left foot between his thigh and his calf, and he would spread his right foot out, except when he was sitting for tashahhud. Perhaps this was due to discomfort, and Allah knows best."  

أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُصَلِّي مُتَرَبِّعًا وَقَدْ رُوِّينَا فِي الْحَدِيثِ الثَّابِتِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا قَعَدَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ جَعَلَ قَدَمَهُ الْيُسْرَى بَيْنَ فَخِذِهِ وَسَاقِهِ وَفَرَشَ قَدَمَهُ الْيُمْنَى إِلَّا أَنَّ ذَلِكَ فِي الْقُعُودِ لِلتَّشَهُّدِ وَلَعَلَّ ذَلِكَ كَانَ مِنْ شَكْوَى وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ
