[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ that he saw spittle or phlegm in the direction of the qiblah, so I stood up and wiped it away. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Would any of you like that a man comes to him while he is praying and spits or coughs in his face? When one of you prays, let him not spit in front of him or to his right, but to his left or under his foot. Otherwise, let him spit on his garment." This is the wording of the hadith of Ghundar.
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ رَأَى نُخَامَةً أَوْ بُزَاقًا فِي الْقِبْلَةِ فَقُمْتُ فَنَحَّيْتُهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَيُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَأْتِيَهُ رَجُلٌ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فَيَبْزُقَ أَوْ يَتَنَخَّعَ فِي وَجْهِهِ؟ إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فَلَا يَبْزُقْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَلَكِنْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ وَإِلَّا بَزَقَ فِي ثَوْبِهِ فَدَلَّكَهُ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ غُنْدَرٍ
