[Machine] I arrived as a rider on a camel, and at that time, I had almost reached the point of falling asleep. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was leading the people in prayer in Mina. I passed in front of some of the rows, so I got off and sent the camels to graze. Then I entered the row, and no one objected to that. In the narration of Ash-Shafi'i, I sent my donkey to graze, and then I entered the row, and no one objected to that. 3502 Abu Abdullah Al-Hafiz informed us, Abu Bakr ibn Ishaq narrated to us, Isma'il ibn Qutaybah reported to us, and Yahya ibn Yahya said: I read to Malik and he mentioned it like the hadith of Al-Qa'nabi, except that he said, "In front of the row," and he said, "No one objected to that."  

أَقْبَلْتُ رَاكِبًا عَلَى أَتَانٍ وَأَنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ قَدْ نَاهَزْتُ الِاحْتِلَامَ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ بِمِنًى فَمَرَرْتُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ بَعْضِ الصَّفِّ فَنَزَلَتُ وَأَرْسَلْتُ الْأَتَانَ تَرْتَعُ وَدَخَلْتُ فِي الصَّفِّ فَلَمْ يُنْكِرْ ذَلِكَ عَلَيَّ أَحَدٌ وَفِي حَدِيثِ الشَّافِعِيِّ فَأَرْسَلْتُ حِمَارِي تَرْتَعُ وَدَخَلْتُ الصَّفَّ فَلَمْ يُنْكِرْ ذَلِكَ عَلَيَّ أَحَدٌ 3502 وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ فَذَكَرَهُ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ الْقَعْنَبِيِّ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الصَّفِّ وَقَالَ فَلَمْ يُنْكِرْ ذَلِكَ عَلَيَّ أَحَدٌ
