bayhaqi:337 – Abū ʿAbdullāh And ʾAbū Saʿīd > Abū al-ʿAbbās > Muḥammad b. al-Jahm > al-Walīd b. Ḥassān al-Thawrī

[Machine] And about Al-Kisayi, all of these were attributed to him, and whoever diminished it, it is only for the sake of ease. Al-A'mash said: They used to recite it with a lowering tone and they used to wash it.

البيهقي:٣٣٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ وَأَبُو سَعِيدٍ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْجَهْمِ أَخْبَرَنِي الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ الثَّوْرِيُّ أَنَّهُ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ وَكَانَ عَالِمًا بِوُجُوهِ الْقِرَاءَاتِ وَذَكَرَ فِيهَا {وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ} [المائدة 6] مُنْتَصِبَ اللَّامِ وَبَلَغَنِي عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ التَّيْمِيِّ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقْرَؤُهَا نَصْبًا وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْيَحْصِبِيِّ وَعَنْ عَاصِمٍ بِرِوَايَةِ حَفْصٍ وَعَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ الْأَعْشَى

وَعَنِ الْكِسَائِيِّ كُلُّ هَؤُلَاءِ نَصَبُوهَا وَمَنْ خَفَضَهَا فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ لِلْمُجَاوَرَةِ قَالَ الْأَعْمَشُ كَانُوا يَقْرَءُونَهَا بِالْخَفْضِ وَكَانُوا يَغْسِلُونَ
