[Machine] I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying that the area above the knees and below the navel is considered part of the 'awrah. Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn al-Harith al-Faqih informed us that Ali ibn Umar al-Hafiz narrated to us, who was informed by Yusuf ibn Ya'qub ibn Ishaq ibn Buhlul, who was narrated by my grandfather, who was narrated by my father Sa'id ibn Abi Rashid. He mentioned it and what was mentioned before is sufficient with the help of Allah.  

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَا فَوْقَ الرُّكْبَتَيْنِ مِنَ الْعَوْرَةِ وَمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ السُّرَّةِ مِنَ الْعَوْرَةِ أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَافِظُ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ بُهْلُولٍ ثنا جَدِّي ثنا أَبِي عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ فَذَكَرَهُ وَفِيمَا مَضَى كِفَايَةٌ وَبِاللهِ التَّوْفِيقُ
