[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Ask Allah with the palms of your hands and do not ask Him with their backs. When you finish, wipe your faces with them." Abu Dawud said: "This hadith is narrated without a specific chain from Muhammad ibn Ka'b. All of its narrations are weak, and this narration is one of the most weak."  

البيهقي:٣١٥١أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَهُوَ السِّجِسْتَانِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَيْمَنَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْقُرَظِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ سَلُوا اللهَ ﷻ بِبُطُونِ أَكُفِّكُمْ وَلَا تَسْأَلُوهُ بِظُهُورِهَا فَإِذَا فَرَغْتُمْ فَامْسَحُوا بِهَا وُجُوهَكُمْ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ كُلُّهَا وَاهِيَةٌ وَهَذَا الطَّرِيقُ أَمْثَلُهَا وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ أَيْضًا
