[Machine] Verily, it is from the Sunnah that when the Imam finishes the prayer, he does not get up from his place where he prayed to perform voluntary prayers until he moves, changes position, or engages in conversation. Ath-Thawri narrated from Maisarah ibn Habib from Al-Minhal ibn Amr that he said: "Except that he said it is not appropriate for the Imam." And in another narration, "It is not proper for the Imam." We also narrated from Ibn Abbas regarding this, and he said, "So let him advance or speak to someone."
