His father said: "When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat in the second or fourth rak'ah, he would place his hands on his knees and point with his finger." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1161)   

البيهقي:٢٧٩١ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ ثنا نُعَيْمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ أنبأ مَخْرَمَةُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ثنا عَامِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
