[Machine] About Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, it is narrated in both a raised (marfu') and stopped (mawquf) manner, with the stopped narration being more authentic.  

البيهقي:٢٣٨٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَافِظُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا ثنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ وَاصِلٍ ثنا خَلَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ ثنا أَسْبَاطُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ قَالَ سُئِلَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ عَنِ السَّبْعِ الْمَثَانِي فَقَالَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ فَقِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّمَا هِيَ سِتُّ آيَاتٍ فَقَالَ {بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ} [الفاتحة 1] آيَةٌ وَرُوِيَ
