bayhaqi:2257 – Abū Muḥammad ʿAbdullāh b. Yūsuf Imlāʾ > Abū Saʿīd Aḥmad b. Muḥammad b. Ziyād al-Baṣrī Bimakkah > al-Ḥasan b. Muḥammad al-Ṣabbāḥ al-Zaʿfarānī > Abū Muʿāwiyah > al-Aʿmash > Ibrāhīm > ʿAlqamah > ʿAbdullāh b. Masʿūd

[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ made a mistake in prayer and performed the two prostrations of forgetfulness. Muslim narrated this in Sahih from Abu Kurayb and others from Abu Muawiya.  

البيهقي:٢٢٥٧ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ إِمْلَاءً أنبأ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّبَّاحُ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ثنا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ؓ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سَهَا فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ وَرَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي كُرَيْبٍ وَغَيْرِهِ عَنْ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَالْخِمَارِ
