[Machine] Concerning the hadith of Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him), it is the most authentic with its witnesses and the narrations of Al-Zuhri are unreliable.  

البيهقي:٢١٥٢١ – أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ ثنا يَحْيَى أنبأ يَزِيدُ أنبأ ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَنَّ الزُّبَيْرَ ؓ قَدِمَ خَيْبَرَ فَرَأَى فِتْيَةً أَعْجَبَهُ حَالُهُمْ فَسَأَلَ عَنْهُمْ فَقِيلَ هُمْ مَوَالٍ لِبَنِي حَارِثَةَ أُمُّهُمْ حُرَّةٌ مَوْلَاةٌ لِبَنِي حَارِثَةَ وَأَبُوهُمْ مَمْلُوكٌ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى أَبِيهِمْ فَاشْتَرَاهُ فَأَعْتَقَهُ فَاخْتَصَمَ هُوَ وَبَنُو حَارِثَةَ إِلَى عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ؓ فِي الْوَلَاءِ فَقَضَى عُثْمَانُ ؓ بِالْوَلَاءِ لِبَنِي حَارِثَةَ وَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ ؓ الْوَلَاءُ لَا يَجُرُّ كَذَا قَالَ وَالرِّوَايَةُ الْأُولَى

عَنْ عُثْمَانَ ؓ أَصَحُّ بِشَوَاهِدِهَا وَمَرَاسِيلُ الزُّهْرِيِّ رَدِيئَةٌ
