[Machine] He said, "I have not taken the recitation of Surah Yusuf except from the recitation of Uthman, which he used to recite in the morning due to the abundance of his repetition. Abu Bakr al-Qadi informed us, Abu al-Abbas al-Asamm narrated to us, Rabia reported to Shafi'i, I (Malik) narrated from Yahya ibn Sa'id and Rabia that al-Furafisha ibn Umair said, "And he (Prophet Muhammad) mentioned it (Surah Yusuf) and that indicates that he used to recited it while sitting."  

أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَا أَخَذْتُ سُورَةَ يُوسُفَ إِلَّا مِنْ قِرَاءَةِ عُثْمَانَ إِيَّاهَا فِي الصُّبْحِ مِنْ كَثْرَةِ مَا كَانَ يُرَدِّدُهَا 2149 أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْقَاضِي ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ أنا مَالِكٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ وَرَبِيعَةَ أَنَّ الْفُرَافِصَةَ بْنَ عُمَيْرٍ قَالَ فَذَكَرَهُ وَذَلِكَ يَدُلُّ عَلَى أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَدْخُلُ فِيهَا مُغَلِّسًا
