Yaʿqūb > Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAbd al-Ḥakam > Ibn Wahb > Yaʿqūb b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman Waḥafṣ b. Maysarah > Mūsá b. ʿUqbah > Nāfiʿ > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar Aʿtaq Ghulām Lah Thum Āshtaraṭ ʿAlayh

[Machine] That he had been doing his work for many years. Then, some of his years passed and in the narration of the judge, some years. Then, either during Hajj or Umrah, Abdullah said to him, "I have left what I stipulated for you, while you are free and you don't have such work." Then he found it, so he stipulated it for him. And indeed, it is what he stipulated for him.  

البيهقي:٢١٤٢٨أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ أنبأ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَحَفْصُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ أَعْتَقَ غُلَامًا لَهُ ثُمَّ اشْتَرَطَ عَلَيْهِ

أَنَّ لَهُ عَمَلَهُ سِنِينَ فَرَعَى لَهُ بَعْضَ سِنِيِّهِ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ الْقَاضِي بَعْضَ سَنَةٍ ثُمَّ قَدِمَ عَلَيْهِ إِمَّا فِي حَجٍّ وَإِمَّا فِي عُمْرَةٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ قَدْ تَرَكْتُ الَّذِي اشْتَرَطْتُ عَلَيْكَ وَأَنْتَ حُرٌّ وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ عَمَلٌ كَذَا وَجَدْتُهُ ثُمَّ اشْتَرَطَ عَلَيْهِ وَإِنَّمَا هُوَ وَاشْتَرَطَ عَلَيْهِ
