bayhaqi:20810 – Abū ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥāfiẓ And ʾAbū Bakr al-Qāḍī > Abū al-ʿAbbās > al-Aṣam > al-ʿAbbās b. Muḥammad al-Dūrī > Yūnus b. Muḥammad al-Muʾaddib > Muslim b. Khālid al-Zanjī > al-ʿAlāʾ b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman from his father > Abū Hurayrah ؓ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The nobility of a person is in his religion, his dignity is in his intellect, and his worth is in his character." This is narrated by Muslim ibn Khalid al-Zanji, and it has also been reported from two other weak narrators from Abu Huraira.

البيهقي:٢٠٨١٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ الْقَاضِي قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ هُوَ الْأَصَمُّ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُؤَدِّبُ ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الزَّنْجِيُّ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ كَرَمُ الْمَرْءِ دِينُهُ وَمُرُوءَتُهُ عَقْلُهُ وَحَسَبُهُ خُلُقُهُ هَذَا يُعْرَفُ بِمُسْلِمِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الزَّنْجِيِّ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ وَجْهَيْنِ آخَرَيْنِ ضَعِيفَيْنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
