[Machine] Bilal used to not pay attention to the call to prayer, and sometimes he would delay the call to commence the prayer. His statement was made before the sunset.  

البيهقي:٢٠٦٤وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ ثنا يُونُسُ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ

كَانَ بِلَالٌ لَا يَحْذِمُ الْأَذَانَ وَكَانَ رُبَّمَا أَخَّرَ الْإِقَامَةَ شَيْئًا وَقَدْ مَضَى قَوْلُهُ كَانَ بِلَالٌ يُؤَذِّنُ إِذَا دَحَضَتِ الشَّمْسُ

[Machine] Bilal used to call the Dhuhr prayer when the sun declined, and sometimes he would delay the congregational prayer, but he did not delay the call to prayer.  

الطبراني:١٩٤٧حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى ثنا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

«كَانَ بِلَالٌ يُؤَذِّنُ الظُّهْرَ إِذَا دَحَضَتِ الشَّمْسُ وَكَانَ رُبَّمَا أَخَّرَ الْإِقَامَةَ وَلَا يُؤَخِّرُ الْأَذَانَ»
