[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ sent a man to Najran who complained, so he said: "I will send a trustworthy man to you, a true trustworthy person." So the companions of the Prophet ﷺ regarded Abu Ubaidah ibn al-Jarrah for this task.  

البيهقي:٢٠١٤٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو النَّضْرِ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ صِلَةَ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ ؓ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بَعَثَ رَجُلًا عَلَى نَجْرَانَ فَشَكَوْهُ فَقَالَ لَأَبْعَثَنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ رَجُلًا أَمِينًا حَقَّ أَمِينٍ فَاسْتَشْرَفَ لَهَا أَصْحَابُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَبَعَثَ أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ بْنَ الْجَرَّاحِ
