bayhaqi:20094Abū ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥāfiẓ > Abū ʿAbdullāh Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb al-Ḥāfiẓ > ʿAlī b. al-Ḥasan b. Abū ʿĪsá > Ibrāhīm b. Naṣr al-Sabaʾī al-Shahīd > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Maghrāʾ > Muḥammad b. Kurayb from his father > Ibn ʿAbbās

[Machine] He fasted, did not sit, did not seek shade, and did not speak. So the Prophet ﷺ was brought to him and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Sit down, seek shade, and speak, and disbelieve like this." I found him disbelieving, and he disbelieve and with me it is a distortion. It is only fasting as he is in the rest of the narrations. And Allah knows best.  

البيهقي:٢٠٠٩٤أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْحَافِظُ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عِيسَى ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ السَّبَئِيُّ الشَّهِيدُ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَغْرَاءَ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كُرَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو إِسْرَائِيلَ بْنُ قُشَيْرٍ إِنَّهُ كَانَ نَذَرَ أَنْ

يَصُومَ وَلَا يَقْعُدَ وَلَا يَسْتَظِلَّ وَلَا يَتَكَلَّمَ فَأُتِيَ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اقْعُدْ وَاسْتَظِلَّ وَتَكَلَّمْ وَكَفِّرْ كَذَا وَجَدْتُهُ وَكَفِّرْ وَعِنْدِي أَنَّ ذَلِكَ تَصْحِيفٌ إِنَّمَا هُوَ وَصُمْ كَمَا هُوَ فِي سَائِرِ الرِّوَايَاتِ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ
