[Machine] I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about Miaradh, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If you throw and hit, then eat, but if you kill with it, then do not eat."  

البيهقي:١٨٩٤٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ أنبأ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَرَجُلٌ آخَرُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنِ النَّخَعِيِّ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ ؓ قَالَ

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْمِعْرَاضِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا رَمَيْتَ فَسَمَّيْتَ فَخَرَقَ فَكُلْ وَإِنْ قَتَلَ وَإِذَا أَصَبْتَ بِعَرْضِهِ فَقَتَلَ فَلَا تَأْكُلْ
