[Machine] Al-Hasan al-Basri and Qatadah, and the discussion regarding them, relates to the recommendation of performing purification during the remembrance of Allah. This has been previously mentioned in the book of purification.

البيهقي:١٨٥٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ أنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ حَيَّانَ أَبُو الشَّيْخِ ثنا عَبْدَانُ ثنا هِلَالُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ ثنا عُمَيْرُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ الْعَلَّافُ ثنا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ حَقٌّ وَسُنَّةٌ مَسْنُونَةٌ أَنْ لَا يُؤَذِّنَ إِلَّا وَهُوَ طَاهِرٌ وَلَا يُؤَذِّنُ إِلَّا وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ وَائِلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ مُرْسَلٌ وَهُوَ قَوْلُ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ وَقَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ النَّخَعِيُّ كَانُوا لَا يَرَوْنَ بَأْسًا أَنْ يُؤَذِّنَ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى غَيْرِ وُضُوءٍ وَبِهِ قَالَ

الْحَسَنُ الْبَصْرِيُّ وَقَتَادَةُ وَالْكَلَامُ فِيهِ يَرْجِعُ إِلَى اسْتِحْبَابِ الطَّهَارَةِ فِي الْأَذْكَارِ وَقَدْ مَضَى فِي كِتَابِ الطَّهَارَةِ
