[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah laughs at two men. One of them kills the other, and both of them enter Paradise." They said, "How is that, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "This man is killed and enters Paradise, then Allah forgives the other and guides him to Islam, and then he fights in the cause of Allah and is martyred."  

البيهقي:١٨٥٣٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ وَأَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بِشْرَانَ قَالَا أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنبأ مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ يَقُولُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَضْحَكُ اللهُ مِنْ رَجُلَيْنِ يَقْتُلُ أَحَدُهُمَا الْآخَرَ كِلَاهُمَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَالُوا وَكَيْفَ ذَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ يُقْتَلُ هَذَا فَيَلِجُ الْجَنَّةَ ثُمَّ يَتُوبُ اللهُ ﷻ عَلَى الْآخَرِ فَيَهْدِيهِ إِلَى الْإِسْلَامِ ثُمَّ يُجَاهِدُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَيُسْتَشْهَدُ

He said: One is slain (in the way of Allah) and enters Paradise. Then God forgives the other and guides him to Islam; then he fights in the way of Allah and dies a martyr.

malik:21-30 – Mālik > Abū al-Zinād > al-Aʿraj > Abū Hurayrah

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z-Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Allah laughs at two men. One of them kills the other, but each of them will enter the Garden: one fights in the way of Allah and is killed, then Allah turns to the killer, so he fights (in the way of Allah) and also becomes a martyr."  

مالك:٢١-٣٠ – وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

ahmad:8224 –

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Allah will laugh at two men. One of them kills the other, and then both of them enter Paradise. The one who is killed fights in the cause of Allah, then he is killed, and then Allah forgives the killer, who then fights and is martyred."
