[Machine] I came to the Prophet (PBUH) while he was in a red dome in Al-Abtah. Bilal came out to us and I noticed the brilliance of the Prophet's (PBUH) ablution. Between his fingers and toes, it was shining. Bilal then called the Adhan, and I followed his mouth movements saying, "Here and there." In the year 1851, Abu Abdullah Al-Hafiz Ahmad bin Ja'far narrated to us that Abdullah bin Ahmad bin Hanbal informed him that my father narrated to me that Waki' narrated to us that Sufyan narrated to us that Awn bin Abu Juhaifa narrated to us from his father. He mentioned the Hadith, in which he said that the Prophet (PBUH) performed ablution and Bilal called the Adhan. I followed his mouth movements saying, "Here and there." He said, "Right and left." He said, "Alive for prayer, alive for success."  

أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَهُوَ فِي قُبَّةٍ حَمْرَاءَ بِالْأَبْطَحِ فَخَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا بِلَالٌ بِفَضْلِ وُضُوءِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَبَيْنَ نَائِلٍ وَنَاضِحٍ مِنْهُ قَالَ فَأَذَّنَ بِلَالٌ فَجَعَلْتُ أَتْبَعُ فَاهُ هَاهُنَا وَهَاهُنَا 1851 وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا وَكِيعٌ ثنا سُفْيَانُ ثنا عَوْنُ بْنُ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ وَفِيهِ قَالَ فَتَوَضَّأَ وَأَذَّنَ بِلَالٌ فَجَعَلْتُ أَتْبَعُ فَاهُ هَاهُنَا وَهَاهُنَا يَقُولُ يَمِينًا وَشِمَالًا يَقُولُ حِيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ حِيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ
