Dāsah from my father

[Machine] Abu Dawood Al-Sijistani said, "This narration is not strong and it includes many prohibitions regarding the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." The sheikh, may Allah have mercy on him, said, "The scholars avoid what Ibn Ishaq narrates in it, and if it is authentic, perhaps Ja'far did not receive the prohibition. Allah knows best."  

البيهقي:١٨١٣٧فَقَدْ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ قَالَ قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ فَإِنْ قَالَ قَائِلٌ فَقَدْ رُوِيَ أَنَّ جَعْفَرَ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ عَقَرَ عِنْدَ الْحَرْبِ فَلَا أَحْفَظُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ وَجْهٍ يَثْبُتُ عِنْدَ الِانْفِرَادِ وَلَا أَعْلَمُهُ مَشْهُورًا عِنْدَ عَوَامِّ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ بِالْمَغَازِي 18138 وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ السِّجِسْتَانِيُّ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَيْسَ بِذَلِكَ الْقَوِيِّ وَقَدْ جَاءَ فِيهِ نَهْيٌ كَثِيرٌ عَنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ الْحُفَّاظُ يَتَوَقَّوْنَ مَا يَنْفَرِدُ بِهِ ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ وَإِنْ صَحَّ فَلَعَلَّ جَعْفَرًا ؓ لَمْ يَبْلُغْهُ النَّهْيُ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ
