[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ only made their eyes sleepy because they made the eyes of the shepherds sleepy due to their excessive mentioning of the story of Al-A'rj. And in the narration of Al-Marwazi, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ only made their eyes sleepy because they made the eyes of the shepherds sleepy."  

البيهقي:١٨٠٥٤ – وَالَّذِي يَدُلُّ عَلَيْهِ مَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمَرْوَزِيَّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ غَيْلَانَ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ وَأَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ السَّرَّاجُ قَالَا ثنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْأَعْرَجُ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ غَيْلَانَ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسٍ ؓ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّمَا سَمَلَ أَعْيُنَ أُولَئِكَ لِأَنَّهُمْ سَمَلُوا أَعْيُنَ الرُّعَاةِ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ الْأَعْرَجِ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ الْمَرْوَزِيِّ إِنَّمَا سَمَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَعْيُنَهُمْ؛ لِأَنَّهُمْ سَمَلُوا أَعْيُنَ الرُّعَاةِ
