[Machine] I was among them, and whoever grew was killed, and whoever did not grow was left, so I was among those who did not grow.  

البيهقي:١٨٠١٩أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ أَبُو عُثْمَانَ عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ أنبأ يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْقُرَظِيِّ قَالَ

كُنْتُ فِيهِمْ وَكَانَ مَنْ أَنْبَتَ قُتِلَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُنْبِتْ تُرِكَ فَكُنْتُ فِيمَنْ لَمْ يُنْبِتْ

I was among the captives of Banu Qurayzah. They (the Companions) examined us, and those who had begun to grow hair (pubes) were killed, and those who had not were not killed. I was among those who had not grown hair.  

أبو داود:٤٤٠٤حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَطِيَّةُ الْقُرَظِيُّ قَالَ

كُنْتُ مِنْ سَبْىِ بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ فَكَانُوا يَنْظُرُونَ فَمَنْ أَنْبَتَ الشَّعْرَ قُتِلَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُنْبِتْ لَمْ يُقْتَلْ فَكُنْتُ فِيمَنْ لَمْ يُنْبِتْ  

tirmidhi:1584Hannād > Wakīʿ > Sufyān > ʿAbd al-Malik b. ʿUmayr > ʿAṭiyyah al-Quraẓī

"We were presented to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day of (the battle of) Quraizah. Whoever had pubic hair was killed and whoever did not was left to his way. I was of those who did not have pubic hair so I was left to my way."  

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih. This is acted upon according to some of the people of knowledge. They consider pubic hair an indication of the age of responsibility, if it is not known whether he has had a wet dream, or his age. This is the view of Ahmad and Ishaq.
الترمذي:١٥٨٤حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْقُرَظِيِّ قَالَ

عُرِضْنَا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَوْمَ قُرَيْظَةَ فَكَانَ مَنْ أَنْبَتَ قُتِلَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُنْبِتْ خُلِّيَ سَبِيلُهُ فَكُنْتُ مِمَّنْ لَمْ يُنْبِتْ فَخُلِّيَ سَبِيلِي  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ بَعْضِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ أَنَّهُمْ يَرَوْنَ الإِنْبَاتَ بُلُوغًا إِنْ لَمْ يُعْرَفِ احْتِلاَمُهُ وَلاَ سِنُّهُ وَهُوَ قَوْلُ أَحْمَدَ وَإِسْحَاقَ

كُنْتُ فِيمَنْ أُخِذَ يَوْمَ قُرَيْظَةَ فَكَانُوا «يَقْتُلُونَ مَنْ أَنَبْتَ وَيَتْرُكُونَ مَنْ لَمْ يُنْبِتْ فَكُنْتُ فِيمَنْ تُرِكَ»
