[Machine] I said to Al-Hasan, "O Abu Sa'eed, I am a merchant traveling with a caravan, and I fill my stomach with food. Then I ascend to the enemy's land and eat from their dates and grapes. What do you think?" Al-Hasan replied, "I have raided with Abdur-Rahman ibn Samurah and some men from the companions of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . Whenever they would ascend to the farms and orchards, they would eat without causing corruption or harm."  

قُلْتُ لِلْحَسَنِ يَا أَبَا سَعِيدٍ إِنِّي امْرُؤٌ مَتْجَرِي بِالْأَيْلَةِ وَإِنِّي أَمْلَأُ بَطْنِي مِنَ الطَّعَامِ فَأَصْعَدُ إِلَى أَرْضِ الْعَدُوِّ فَآكُلُ مِنْ تَمْرِهِ وَبُسْرِهِ فَمَا تَرَى؟ قَالَ الْحَسَنُ غَزَوْتُ مَعَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ وَرِجَالٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ كَانُوا إِذَا صَعِدُوا إِلَى الثِّمَارِ أَكَلُوا مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يُفْسِدُوا أَوْ يَحْمِلُوا
