[Machine] Imam Al-Shafi'i, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went on a battle, and some of his known hypocrites joined him. He distanced himself from them on the Day of Uhud by three hundred. The Sheikh, may Allah have mercy on him, said that this is clear in the battles."  

البيهقي:١٧٨٥٩أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ
