[Machine] That Najda wrote to Ibn Abbas, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ engage in battle with women? And did he ever strike them with arrows?" He replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did engage in battle with women in order to tend to the wounded, but he did not strike them with arrows. Rather, they would receive their share of the spoils of war."  

البيهقي:١٧٨٥١أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ أنبأ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ هُرْمُزَ

أَنَّ نَجْدَةَ كَتَبَ إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ هَلْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَغْزُو بِالنِّسَاءِ؟ وَهَلْ كَانَ يَضْرِبُ لَهُنَّ بِسَهْمٍ؟ فَقَالَ قَدْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَغْزُو بِالنِّسَاءِ فَيُدَاوِينَ الْجَرْحَى وَلَمْ يَكُنْ يَضْرِبُ لَهُنَّ بِسَهْمٍ وَلَكِنْ يُحْذَيْنَ مِنَ الْغَنِيمَةِ  

أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ كَمَا مَضَى قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ وَمَحْفُوظٌ أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْقِتَالَ الْعَبِيدُ وَالصِّبْيَانُ وَأَحْذَاهُمْ مِنَ الْغَنِيمَةِ
