البيهقي:١٧٧٩٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ثنا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ وَدَاوُدُ بْنُ مِخْرَاقٍ الْفَارَيَابِيُّ قَالَا ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى الْحَجَّاجِ فَقَالَ يَا ابْنَ الْأَكْوَعِ ارْتَدَدْتَ عَلَى عَقِبَيْكَ تَعَرَّبْتَ قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا بَعْدَ الْهِجْرَةِ قَالَ

لَا وَلَكِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَذِنَ لِي فِي الْبَدْوِ  

أَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ وَمُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ قُتَيْبَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ
