[Machine] The people of Iraq say that the whip does not cause severe pain. Saad said, and I bear witness on my father's behalf, that he told me that when Abu Bakrah was whipped, his mother was ordered to slaughter a sheep, then it was skinned and its skin was put on him. Is that not from severe skin pain?  

البيهقي:١٧٥٧٩أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ خَمِيرَوَيْهِ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعْدَ بْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ

إِنَّ أَهْلَ الْعِرَاقِ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّ الْقَاذِفَ لَا يُجْلَدُ جَلْدًا شَدِيدًا قَالَ سَعْدٌ وَأَشْهَدُ عَلَى أَبِي أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَنِي أَنَّهُ لَمَّا جُلِدَ أَبُو بَكْرَةَ أَمَرَتْ أُمُّهُ بِشَاةٍ فَذُبِحَتْ ثُمَّ سُلِخَتْ فَأَلْبَسَتْهُ جِلْدَهَا فَهَلْ ذَاكَ إِلَّا مِنْ جَلْدٍ شَدِيدٍ؟
