[Machine] The blind man was being led by a sighted person when they both fell into a well. The blind man fell on top of the sighted person and the sighted person died. The blind man spent the rest of his life with the wisdom of the sighted person.

البيهقي:١٦٤٠٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَا أنبأ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْمَحَامِلِيُّ ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الصَّائِغُ ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ اللَّخْمِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ إِنَّ أَعْمَى كَانَ يُنْشِدُ فِي الْمَوْسِمِ فِي خِلَافَةِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ [البحر الرجز] أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ لَقِيتُ مُنْكَرَا هَلْ يَعْقِلُ الْأَعْمَى الصَّحِيحَ الْمُبْصِرَا خَرَّا مَعًا كِلَاهُمَا تَكَسَّرَا وَذَلِكَ

أَنَّ أَعْمَى كَانَ يَقُودُهُ بَصِيرٌ فَوَقَعَا فِي بِئْرٍ فَوَقَعَ الْأَعْمَى عَلَى الْبَصِيرِ فَمَاتَ الْبَصِيرُ فَقَضَى عُمَرُ ؓ بِعَقْلِ الْبَصِيرِ عَلَى الْأَعْمَى
