البيهقي:١٦٠٧٣ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ ثنا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَتَلَ امْرَأَتَهُ اسْتَعْدَى ثَلَاثَةُ إِخْوَةٍ لَهَا عَلَيْهِ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ فَعَفَا أَحَدُهُمْ فَقَالَ

عُمَرُ ؓ لِلْبَاقِيَيْنِ خُذَا ثُلُثَيِ الدِّيَةِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا سَبِيلَ إِلَى قَتْلِهِ
