[Machine] She sits and reads, then she takes a bath and prays, so two months pass until she becomes pure.  

البيهقي:١٥٨٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ثنا يَزِيدُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ هَارُونَ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ يَعْنِي التَّيْمِيَّ عَنْ طَلْقٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حَبِيبٍ قَالَ كَتَبَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي الدَّمِ مُنْذُ سَنَتَيْنِ فَكَتَبَتْ إِلَيْهِ تُعَظِّمُ عَلَيْهِ إِنْ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ عِلْمٌ إِلَّا أَنْبَأَهَا بِهِ فَقَالَ

تَجْلِسُ وَقْتَ أَقْرَائِهَا ثُمَّ تَغْتَسِلُ وَتُصَلِّي فَمَا أَتَى عَلَيْهَا شَهْرَانِ حَتَّى طَهُرَتْ
