[Machine] "So, restraining oneself with kindness or letting go (of a wife) is the third option. This is what Anas narrated, and the correct version is what Isma'il bin Sumay'i quoted from Abu Razin, who quoted the Prophet ﷺ as saying, 'it is sent down in this way.' "  

البيهقي:١٤٩٩١ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ فِهْرٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ الْمُقِيمُ بِمَكَّةَ نا الْقَاضِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الذُّهْلِيُّ نا إِدْرِيسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ نا لَيْثُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ سُمَيْعٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِنِّي أَسْمَعُ اللهَ يَقُولُ {الطَّلَاقُ مَرَّتَانِ} [البقرة 229] فَأَيْنَ الثَّالِثَةُ؟ قَالَ

{فَإِمْسَاكٌ بِمَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ تَسْرِيحٌ} [البقرة 229] بِإِحْسَانٍ هِيَ الثَّالِثَةُ كَذَا قَالَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ ؓ وَالصَّوَابُ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ سُمَيْعٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مُرْسَلًا كَذَلِكَ
