[Machine] "So it is what you have named, and it was narrated in it a musnad hadith whose chain of transmission has not been verified, and it was narrated in it from Ali and Ibn Mas'ood. Ibn Al-Mundhir said that Ahmad, meaning Ibn Hanbal, weakened the hadith of Uthman and the hadith of Ali and Ibn Mas'ood. In their chain of transmission, there is a disagreement, and the hadith of Ibn Abbas that Tawus intended is more authentic than it in this matter."  

البيهقي:١٤٨٦٤وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَا نا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ هُوَ الْأَصَمُّ أنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أنا الشَّافِعِيُّ ؓ أنا مَالِكٌ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جُمْهَانَ مَوْلَى الْأَسْلَمِيِّينَ عَنْ أُمِّ بَكْرَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيَّةِ أَنَّهَا اخْتَلَعَتْ مِنْ زَوْجِهَا عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُسَيْدٍ ثُمَّ أَتَيَا عُثْمَانَ ؓ فِي ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ هِيَ تَطْلِيقَةٌ إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونَ سَمَّيْتَ شَيْئًا

فَهُوَ مَا سَمَّيْتَ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ فِيهِ حَدِيثٌ مُسْنَدٌ لَمْ يَثْبُتْ إِسْنَادُهُ وَرُوِيَ فِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ وَابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ؓ قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ وَضَعَّفَ أَحْمَدُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حَنْبَلٍ حَدِيثَ عُثْمَانَ وَحَدِيثُ عَلِيٍّ وَابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ؓ فِي إِسْنَادِهِمَا مَقَالٌ وَلَيْسَ فِي الْبَابِ أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ يُرِيدُ حَدِيثَ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ
