[Machine] Abi Quhafa came on the day of the conquest of Mecca, and his head and beard were white like a thrush. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Change this with something and avoid the color black." This is mentioned in the narration of Abi Zakariya mentioning Jabir.  

البيهقي:١٤٨٢٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ قَالَا نا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ نا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ نا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ح وَأنا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ نا أَبُو دَاوُدَ نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ قَالَا نا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ ؓ قَالَ

أُتِيَ بِأَبِي قُحَافَةَ ؓ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ وَرَأْسُهُ وَلِحْيَتُهُ كَالثَّغَامَةِ بَيَاضًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ غَيِّرُوا هَذَا بِشَيْءٍ وَاجْتَنِبُوا السَّوَادَ سَقَطَ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ أَبِي زَكَرِيَّا ذِكْرُ جَابِرٍ  

رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي الطَّاهِرِ بْنِ السَّرْحِ وَرُوِيَ فِي ذَلِكَ أَيْضًا عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ
