[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited Mut'ah (temporary marriage), saying that it is Haram (unlawful) from this day of yours until the Day of Resurrection. And whoever gives something, let him not take it back. This is the saying of Abu Abdullah, and Ibn Abadan did not mention it, that whoever gives to the end."  

البيهقي:١٤١٥٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ ثنا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ وَأَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ قَالَا ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّيْدَلَانِيِّ ثنا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ ثنا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ ثنا مَعْقِلٌ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عَبْلَةَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ سَبْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُتْعَةِ قَالَ إِنَّهَا حَرَامٌ مِنْ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ كَانَ أَعْطَى شَيْئًا فَلَا يَأْخُذْهُ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ ابْنُ عَبْدَانَ قَوْلَهُ وَمَنْ كَانَ أَعْطَى إِلَى آخِرِهِ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited the contracting of temporary marriage and said: Behold, it is forbidden from this very day of yours to the Day of Resurrection, and he who has given something (as a dower) should not take it back.
